Our research has the potential to impact the treatment of thousands of mothers and babies. However, for these new tools and techniques to be successful in a clinic, it is fundamental that they are trusted and accepted by the public. To achieve this, the research community must first open up a dialogue with the public to understand the hopes and concerns relating to these developments.
To begin this journey of learning and discussion, researchers and clinicians across GIFT-Surg, and related project iFind, met to identify the questions they could ask the public that would yield answers that will provide real value to their projects.
